Overview

ScoreSnap is built with privacy at its core. All your data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your financial information to any server.

Data Collection

ScoreSnap stores all data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not operate any backend servers or databases.

Credit card data: Card names, credit limits, balances, and statement dates are stored exclusively on your device. This data never leaves your phone.
Balance history: Historical balance entries are stored locally for your reference.
Notification preferences: Your reminder settings are stored on-device.
No analytics: ScoreSnap does not include any analytics SDKs or tracking code.

Third-Party Services

ScoreSnap uses the following Apple-provided services:

Apple StoreKit: For managing in-app subscriptions. Apple handles all payment processing. We never see your payment information.
Apple UserNotifications: For local push notifications (statement close reminders). Notifications are scheduled entirely on-device.

What We Don't Do

We do not connect to your bank or credit card accounts
We do not pull or access your credit report
We do not use Plaid, fintech APIs, or any financial data aggregators
We do not sell, trade, or share any user data
We do not run advertising or ad-tracking

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. Period.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time through the app's Settings screen ("Delete All Data"). Alternatively, uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

Children's Privacy

ScoreSnap is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
